.Maha Sivarathri is said to have only one meal a day for fasting. It is one of the most common strategies to ensure that no food is eaten without food.

.In Shivratri day, get up early in the morning and bathe. This is recommended to include black sesame seeds in water. Sivarathri day is believed to sanctify not only the body but also the soul. If there is a possible bathing option in the Ganges.

.After taking baths devotees take Sankalp (meeting) to track fast the whole day and break fast the next day. Shankalp devotees bless themselves to complete self-determination and fast to complete without interference. Hindu Vedics are hard, seek the blessings of the people before pledging self-determination and successfully completing them.

.Devotees should stay away from all kinds of food during fasting. Even  not allowed even water. However, fruits and milk consumption are recommended during the day, which is followed by severe fasting at night. In other words, you can eat fruits and milk during the day.

.Pilgrims should bathe in the evening before worshiping Shiva Puja. If you can not go to a temple, you can create a temporary Shiva Linga for doing veneration. Soil shape can also be shaped in Linga and ghee can be applied to Abhishek Pooja at home.
